Challenge account nearing 75% account wide gains since the beginning of the challenge a little under a week and a half ago.
Took one more LMT 25 FEB 390C cost basis 3.50
Took 1x SPY 16 FEB 443 CALL for FOMC
Out of BKKT at 1.35 46% gain
LMT is still very much a war bet. Its tracking up as it looks more and more like Russia will be attacking, but the stock is overall still trading sideways.
Took one more LMT call, 2.85 fill, cost average is 3.30
Thinking out loud, the SPY call we took earlier is a perfect example of why FDs are not meant to be held long term, especially on SPY. Our buy-in was flawless absolute bottom of almost the lowest red candle of the day… HOWEVER we’re just barely clinging onto profitability despite SPY trading almost a full $1 above where we acquired it. This is purely theta working its magic on our option.
Keep this in mind the next time you take a SPY FD.
Stream VM is locked up. Trying to get it back up.
Took 1x BKKT 18 FEB 8 PUT, cost average .71
Sold one LMT call @ 4.10, holding 2.
Trimmed one more at 4.00
Cut my last LMT call there for 4.50. Phone internet is laggy af and I don’t want to catch a SPY pullback.
Bought one more BKKT put, new cost average is .68.
Keep in mind, everything is basically 1:1 SPY right now.
Took a XOM 25 FEB 79 CALL here, cost $1.20
This was a bad entry, I’m going to hold the position and risk it getting worse so I can get a way better cost average if the downward momentum continues.
Took one more XOM, 1.00 cost, new basis is 1.13. Fully in.
I’m currently holding 2x XOM calls and 2x BKKT puts. I haven’t made a re-entry into LMT because this price point is incredibly dicey for that play. Better to take something that’s potentially a deal which can benefit from a similar boost than to play the main thing which could be potentially too elevated to be profitable.
Sold one BKKT put letting one ride.
