For plays like wish and bmbl where your puts print based on AH/PM activity, is it best to sell at market open or wait? If you sell at open do you use limit orders? How do you determine what limit you want to maximize your profits?
the crappy answer is it really depends.
If you’re seeing good movement in pre market there’s a good chance you’ll make money once market opens but I’ve seen it go the other way plenty of times.
If something becomes too volatile, I’ll just try to get out as soon as I’m green (or at a loss if it seems like it isn’t going to be positive).
Just keep that finger over the sell button and close out when you want. Don’t be afraid to close early if you’re locking in profits.
