Gonna do a couple polls so we can vote on what we want for picking your lineup, roster format, scoring system, and if we are putting money on this.
Picking your lineup basically comes down to if you want the standard everyone has to pick who they use each week vs bestball which is a popular new format that just picks your best possible score after the week is over.
Standard roster format is:
1 (QB) Quarterback
2 (RB) Running back
2 (WR) Wide Receivers
1 (TE) Tight End
1 (Flex) RB/WR/TE
1 (D) Defense
1 (K) Kicker
7 (BE) Bench
The main options that are popular are Superflex which allows a QB to start in that Flex role or 2 QB which requires every team to start a 2nd QB. There are infinite variations but I’m gonna keep the options to those 3
Scoring System is just going to be standard vs 0.5 PPR vs full PPR. PPR stands for Point per reception so if you have a player catch 5 passes for 100 yards, in standard they would get 10 points (receiving is 1 point per 10 yards), in half point they would get 12.5 points, and in full PPR they get 15. Everything else stays the same format to format for us.
Money in doesn’t have to be a lot, it’s a one time pay into the pot that the top teams get paid out at the end. If we have 10 or 12 people playing it will be top 3 getting paid out at 60/30/10, if we get 14 or 16 it will be 50/25/15/10 (these are percentages of the pot). So if we do a $5 buy in for 10 people, first place wins $30, 2nd gets $15, 3rd gets $5. All doubled for a $10 buy in and so on.

Okay now need to figure out when we wanna draft. Usually takes about 1-1.5 hours. I’m assuming a weekend would be best? Basically looking at every weekend left of August and then Labor Day weekend as options. The earlier we do it the more likely someone gets screwed by an injury in pre season which is never fun, so I generally draft on Labor Day weekend or Labor Day itself. Let me know thoughts on availability please. Also looking like standard and $10 is the way but not many votes so still up in the air
