Not sure who it was, but someone in VC mentioned that credit card companies were increasing their transactions fees. Not sure the news is widely known, but putting something on here in case anyone hears more.
Per @NotAMouse: credit card interchange may already be priced in. Careful about taking positions. They announced mid March that they intended to raise the interchange rates.
Correct - The announcement was made public on March 8, and stated that the change would be in effect in April. I would not take a position in reaction to the implementation since it was expected.
There should be more plays in the near future with their increased rates/fees.
