Thanks for the energy you give Conq! We need to recharge the batteries from time to time. I appreciate the efforts of the community to help each other to become better traders and better people. I have noticed a difference in my trading habits in the time I have been here.

I got burned hard by essc and rsx but never for a second thought that was a reflection on this place or yourself, so to hear you still feeling the weight of them sucks and sounds like you’re being too hard on yourself which is unfortunate.
Looking at the challenge it’s extremely green over the last 2 months and it’s something to be immensely proud of given the set backs, to be still up 3x is incredible and I really hope it continues at some point because it’s incredible to watch.
Though having said that, take all the time you need to clear your head and properly look after yourself. We will keep this place running at optimal levels of autism for when you get back.

LEADERSHIP, it’s something I have not found many times in my life. But @Conqueror you are a inspiration to many. I am and have always been a fan, and trading aside, a friend. As with everyone here, we are here for you and your family. And yea we will watch over @No_Bags_No_Swag for you until you return. Just know that you have developed a community that is beyond a community. It’s an ecosystem and a place where all walks of life, money, occupation, family, etc can come and partake. Nobody really knows what another person is struggling with. I wish you all the best with your personal issue Conq and hope everything works out and that you can move forward and continue to shine.
If your angst is partly related to some plays that haven’t worked out so well, and you’re feeling guilt. I’d just say that RSX needed market intervention beyond comprehension to stop it playing out - that’s not on you, at all. And ESSC had plenty of opportunities for people to take profits. This is trading, we’re adults, we know the risks, and we know theres a chance of losses. Please do not feel guilt for any of these. It’s genuinely an expected part of trading. If every play won, the whole world would be doing it.
Your challenge is still 3/4 x up, after just over a month or two? How many people would be happy with a 300 / 400% gain over one year of trading, let alone after a couple of months? This is a success.
I’m new here, but joining this place has been a breath of fresh air. It’s taken my mind off my own problems, health wise and a recent traumatic personal loss. I’m UK based, every day I get my work done in the morning, then spend the afternoons watching your stream and plays, and learning. I’ve learnt stuff here that will help me for the rest of my trading life. Please do not feel guilt, you should know that what you offer is fantastic.
Take all the time you need, and come back fresh. And hold your head up high for this place and everything you do. It’s appreciated more than you know.

Absolutely man, take a moment to do something else! I am fairly new to trading and I have to say it can really eat a lot of your psyche! I was banging my gf the other day and all of a sudden I sound myself thinking about what the best way is to exit my AMD position! Trading can really take up A LOT of your mental capacity!
I’ll tell you the same thing I tell friends and employees who are dealing with a tough time.
Here is the Jekyll Recipe:
-Walk outside 30 min per day
-Cut way down on carbs
-No alcohol during the week
Boom 90% of the people I know feel better if they just do that.
As far as those plays go, bro, not on you, we all adults here, and RSX was so far outside of our control. Actually I was pretty proud of the group for banding together to fight the man on that. And hey did we win? well no, but sometimes the fight is worth it, look at those Ukrainians!

Thank you for all you do for the community. If you never created this community and The Challenge, a lot of us would probably still be losing money on the latest WSB pump and dump. None of the big sentiment plays were ever your or anyone’s fault. Take as much time off as you need. I will forever be grateful for this place that you’ve created for people to better themselves as traders.
I will be sure to have plenty of dank wet dreams to tell you about when you return.

I wholeheartly second what others have said above. We all took part in these plays with the knowledge (which was something you always laboured on) of their inherent risk, any loss of money was never on your shoulders. Not to mention most of these tickers saw movements of 10s of percent after your initial call-outs. Honestly on most of these plays I lost money because I knew fuck all about trading, covering cost basis wasn’t even part of my vocabulary! The community that you have brought together is truly a treasure; myself and so many others have gained a huge amount from it. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the much earned rest and come back when you are ready! <3
Most of us probably would have made some dumb bullish plays today with or without you. We got faked out by this crazy market.

Conq, man, we’re all adults, please don’t feel haunted about things that were completely out of anyone’s control. You never pushed the Buy button for us, regardless of what some retarded big eyes on your alerts imply. For fucks sake, you just admitted you were able to 3x an account in less than 2 months (fuck the unrealized and the stolen), while not at your full game, with the added pressure of feeling like literally a thousand people are following you into plays. All that together is a fucking incredible feat, and I’m hard pressed to think of anyone else who could pull off all of what you did at the same time.
I’m gonna give you back some advice you once gave me: don’t look back. Don’t count up the unrealized bullshit. Don’t blame yourself for SEC or random vague Friday announcement bullshit, and certainly don’t blame yourself for losing anyone money. You most definitely have done the opposite. This whole challenge, everyone with wings and the green regulars were reminding each other on TF to play and size positions accordingly.
You are not responsible for anything except showing a bunch of autists how to be patient enough to make themselves money. You made all the right choices, ALL the plays were right (which I understand kinda makes it worse, but you were right every time). Wanna know the worst part of the challenge in my eyes? This right here. You’ve put yourself under a LOT of pressure since Valhalla really started rolling last fall, but Conq, your idea is working. You have to have noticed how much better the server is trading overall. At least those that are vocal/active regularly, literally every single person has improved in (much more than) one way or another because of this community. I literally just wrote that in my journal, this is so much more than just a trading community. We’re becoming a family, and it doesn’t have to all lie on your shoulders any more. Everyone has evolved and grown, I’m not sure how much of TF you see during the day with everything else you’re doing going on, but shit’s been TIGHT in there lately. All business, til 4:01 and ILoveYou starts posting memes, then it’s just bullshitting with the family.
Speaking personally, you and this challenge made me a lot of money (for me). I tripled my account using things I learned from you and this server and following a good amount of your plays. I lost some-to-a-shitload on all the haunted ones too, but the thought ‘Wow, this is Conq’s fault’ never even approached my mind, and if someone did think that, they clearly haven’t learned shit, cause any one of these plays was all out of anyone’s control. It is not your fault I held ESSC 2 for a week after it started getting strange. It is not your fault fucking VanEck and CBOE robbed RSX premiums. It is not your fault that NVDA tanked their own stock with the share announcement for reasons still unknown.
It IS your fault that I don’t slap bids/asks anymore and let the price come to me. It IS your fault that I now know how to average down out of a position gone bad. It IS your fault for bringing together a truly exceptional group of people who all learn and teach from each other. It is your fault that amazing things will come out of groups of people in this server, I truly believe that, give that some time. It is your fault that I made a months pay in one week, multiple times. It is not your fault if I decided to lose it afterwards, or if I invested it safely. You are not responsible for our choices, and your guidance has always been good. You’ve done nothing wrong, and many, many things right.
Everyone is human, and everyone needs a break to decompress time to time. Not everyone can admit that, especially publicly, so I admire the fact you can and did. In fact, I’m really glad you’re taking a break. I was starting to wonder when you would or should (though it wasn’t my place to ask), you’ve been going 200mph for months now. You have more than earned a break, you deserve one. Don’t worry while you’re away and doing your thing, despite AH appearances, everyone has grown in our own ways, and after the purge, we’re really turned from community to family.
And, family is there for all, good and bad, so while the good was very very good, know that any of us are here for you (and each other) through the not so good. I truly wish you the best possible outcome for the IRL stuff, and I know that I’m approximately number 128 on this list, but please don’t hesitate to reach out for anything I could possibly do or help with, either personally or for the community. That goes for all of you, the true Warriors and Valkyries of Valhalla that are here and members today, I consider you all friends, and my inbox is always open to any of you.
Take all the time you need, the team of Gods and Mods and just the community overall has been killing it lately, so don’t worry my friend, we won’t burn the place down while you’re gone. We’ll continue to trade and grow and uphold the standard of this community this family has been creating.
We’ll continue being business all day, and (sigh) save the big tiddie cartoons til AH haha. I could keep writing for another hour about all the ways you’ve positively impacted my life since September and the way it’s absolutely rocketed me into being motivated again and ending up successful in trading and other areas of life, but this is already kind of ridiculously long lol… just wanted you to know the perspective from the other side, maybe for a small minority it’s just ‘follow stream, buy same, sell same, sleep, repeat’, but for the rest of us it’s been a masterful display of learning day/swing trading from (not exaggerating) the absolute best.
So yeah, all that said, if the setbacks are getting to you a little, just remember, on the shit that did go the other way, you were never wrong. You made all the correct choices, outside forces fucked stuff up. Go look in a mirror, tell that dude he’s the fucking best at what he does, is looked up to and cared about by hundreds of people from all over the country world, and he was was not wrong…
