Typically when you’re filing through Turbotax, you would see your filings like this when sending out your 1099-B:
However (for me at least), when you’re filing for Robinhood, you’re likely to see this:
This means their taxing service isn’t yet available to automatically import 1099-Bs from Robinhood, why it says February 17th. I was in a bit of a panic today trying to finish all my taxes, but got bogged down trying to manually import my Robinhood documents. Only did I just now realize the fine print I was skipping over to speed through taxes.
So if you’re absolutely awful at manually completing your taxes, just wait two more days. Very easy to overlook.
I definitely felt dumb with how obvious it was.
